About Us

Techxter is the annual national level paper presentation competition organized by the IETE Students' Forum of SIES Graduate School of Technology. Every year participants from across the country enroll and present their innovative ideas on this platform. This year, we are organising the 8th iteration of Techxter, and it only gets better each year.Bridge the gap between innovation and the human mind with careful dissection of facts and ideas. About SIES

The South Indian Education Society (SIES) was pioneered in 1932. What started with a strength of six students has now become a conglomerate of various institutions with over 18,000 students under its wing. SIES has established a high school, an array of arts, science and commerce colleges, along with academic and professional institutions of higher learning. The single minded objective to impart Knowledge that meets the increasing need of common man at all levels has driven SIES through the past 80 years. South Indian Education Society has constantly endeavoured to give back to society by making significant contributions to the upliftment of society through its mutli-prolonged initiatives in cultural, social and educational fields.


About IETE

The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers (IETE): IETE Students' Forum (ISF) is a technical organization at SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul, established in March 2008. It plays an active role in organizing extra-curricular events in the college, working on the above mentioned goal and inculcating the genes of innovation into the mindset of students by bringing in different genres of events on an accessible platform. ISF’s motto is to encourage team work and the spirit of inquisitiveness among the student members. IETE Students Forum has been actively involved in many events.


FAQ

1. The length of the paper should not exceed 500 words.

2. It must include the Name, Affiliation, E-mail ID and Mobile number of the first author just below the title on the first page followed by the paper.

3. Names of all other participants must also be included.

4. Participants must also mention subject area upon which the subject topic is based.

5. For the selected papers, author must submit the full length paper in a maximum of four A4 size pages in IEEE two-column format.

1. The participating team should upload their paper to techxter.in.

2. If the paper is shortlisted, the event heads will contact the concerned team.

3. The team will then have to make a payment of rs700/- by Demand Draft.

4. Please note that the above mentioned payment is for a maximum of 3 team members.

5. The team will have to pay an additional amount of 100/- for every extra member that they wish to include in their team.

6. The team will also have to mail their entire paper to the above mentioned email ID after the selection process.

    I am glad to present our event TECHXTER 8.0, a National Level Technical Paper Presentation. I feel proud to inform that this is the 8th National Level Technical Paper Presentation organized by IETE Students’ Forum of SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul, Navi Mumbai . We had received overwhelming response from all over India last year and hope we will get even better this year. The TECHXTER event have been grand success and provided an interactive platform for students to showcase their technical skills in all the disciplines. I am thankful to our Principal Dr. Vikram S. Patil and SIES Management for their outstanding support and valuable guidance to conduct this event. I extend my sincere thanks to Teaching and Non teaching staff of the department of Information Technology. I specially thank Prof. Leena Ladge, ISF coordinator and Prof. Varsha Mali TECHXTER In charge for their continuous support. It would not have been possible to bring out this event without the tremendous support of the student organizers of TECHXTER 8.0 and their contribution to this event has been extraordinary.
