TECHXTER is a National Level Technical Paper Presentation (TPP), open to all the branches of engineering. This event is held by the IETE Students’ Forum (ISF) of SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul. This event is specially designed in such a way that it tests all aspects of the students' knowledge on varied topics. It provides the participants an excellent opportunity for demonstrating technical competence and presentation skills. Students can use this event as a platform to showcase different and upcoming technologies.

Each year, TECHXTER receives about 200+ abstracts from all over India. The abstracts are then sorted and shortlisted for the paper presentation.

On the day of the paper presentation, a panel of two judges is set up in each of the three venues. The participants are ranked by the judges based on their inventive and novel techniques of presentation. All participants whose abstracts are shortlisted for the paper presentation are given National Level Participation Certificates. The winners will be awarded National Level Winners’ Certificates, along with Gift Vouchers and a Cash Prize worth up to Rs. 50,000/-.

TECHXTER 6.0 will continue to be a successful event as seen over the last 5 years.

Techincal Paper Submitted


  • Students Pursuing B.E./B.Tech (All Streams)
  • B.Sc.-IT or B.Sc.-Computers
  • Diploma in Engineering (All Streams)
  • The participants will upload an abstract of their technical paper prior to the presentation on: www.techxter.in
  • The length of the abstract should not exceed 500 words.
  • It must include the Name, Affiliation, E-mail ID and Mobile number of the first author just below the title on the first page, followed by the names of the other participants. This should then be followed by the abstract.
  • Participants must also mention the subject area upon which their topic is based.
  • Submission of Abstracts should be done latest by 6th February, 2017.
  • The participants whose abstracts are shortlisted will have to send their IEEE paper for the presentation within a week. The author must submit the full length paper to techxter.info@gmail.com in a maximum of four A4 size pages in IEEE two column format, which can be viewed on www.techxter.in
As of now provisions for accomodations haven't been made . As and when the decision of accomodations is passed ,this tab will be updated to display the necessary arrangements made for students arriving from other states.
  • Submission of the abstract is free, you have to pay once your TPP is selected. You must send the full length paper to techxter.info@gmail.com and also send DD of ₹700 for 3 and an additional ₹100 for the 4th member.
  • The Draft should be in favor of
    "IETE Students Forum of SIES GST" and sent to “The Principal, IETE Students Forum of SIES GST, Sector 5, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400706”.
It gives us immense pleasure to present our event TECHXTER 6.0, a National Level Technical Paper Presentation. We are pleased to announce that this is the sixth National Level Technical Paper Presentation organized by IETE Students’ Forum of SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul, Navi Mumbai and we look forward to continuing this trend in the future. We have received an astounding response from students all over India last year and are hoping for even better response this year. I am very grateful to the Principal of SIES-GST, Dr. R.V. Patil, and the management of SIES for their kind support and guidance to conduct this event. I extend my sincere thanks to teaching and non-teaching staff members of the department of Information Technology. Special thanks to Prof. Neena Jacob (ISF Staff Coordinator), Prof. Varsha Mali (Techxter Incharge) and the entire team of student organizers of TECHXTER 6.0. I wish TECHXTER 6.0 a very grand success.
